Eminem sigue estando entre los mejores artistas del mundo. Pese a que últimamente ha recibido críticas desmedidas por su cambio de estilo en su último álbum, el rapero ha demostrado una gran adaptación en la industria de la música en los últimos 10 años.
En su último trabajo, Revival se destacan las canciones lentas como «Walk On Water» junto a Beyoncé; «River» junto a Ed Sheeran o «Remind Me» con una base con tintes de rock. «Framed» es lo más cercano que podemos escuchar del viejo Eminem. Los amantes del hip hop que lo conocen por The Slim Shady LP o The Marshall Mathers LP notarán diferencias en el sonido de su música. Pero yo creo que es una evolución normal de todos los artistas. La voz, el cuerpo y la energía cambian hacia un enfoque más equilibrado y experimentado.
Sobre «River»
Con su último álbum a poco de cumplir 2 meses desde si lanzamiento, en la mañana de hoy Eminem lanzó su video de «River» junto a Ed Sheeran. En el día de los enamorados, lanza un tema con una lírica importante y fuerte. Se habla del stalkeo en las redes, la adicción al sexo, las parejas esporádicas, el sexo sin protección y el aborto.
La canción con las rimas de Eminem como eje principal y el aporte de Ed Sheeran, se suman a un vídeo centrado en transformarla en una mini película que atrapa desde el primer segundo. La realización del vídeo es excelente.
